Research Area:

Neda Moghim is currently conducting research in the field of wireless networks, with a particular focus on 5G and future-generation networks. Her research is aimed at ensuring Quality of Service (QoS) in data communications, optimizing Vehicular networks, and exploring the potential of the Internet of Things (IoT). With a strong background in these areas, she possesses substantial expertise in both research and teaching. In her ongoing research, Neda is dedicated to applying cutting-edge technologies within wireless 5G networks to meet their demanding requirements for high-quality of service. Moreover, she is venturing into the incorporation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) techniques to enhance the performance of mobile wireless networks and achieve the aforementioned goal. Neda Moghim’s work has the potential to contribute significantly to the advancement of wireless communication technologies and their seamless integration with AI and ML approaches. By addressing the challenges of 5G and beyond networks and ensuring QoS in data transmission, her research strives to empower the development of more efficient and reliable mobile communication systems.

BIO:

Neda Moghim received the B.S. and M.S. degrees from Isfahan University of Technology, Isfahan, Iran, in 1999 and 2002, respectively, and the Ph.D. from Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2009. She is an associate professor with the Department of Computer Engineering at the University of Isfahan, Iran. She has been a Research Scientist at Virginia Modeling, Analysis, and Simulation Center, Old Dominion University, USA since January 2023. Now, she joins as a Research Assistant Professor from July 2023 in the Department of COVA CCI Coastal Node, Old Dominion University, USA. She is the author of several technical papers in telecommunications journals and conferences.
