COVA CCI Active RFPs
RFP – Curriculum Development (COVACCI-21-05)
RFP ISSUE DATE: October 15, 2021

Period of Performance: January 1, 2022 – August 30, 2022
I. Objective. To encourage utilization of the Virginia Cyber Range and curricula development across the node, COVA CCI is providing financial support to faculty members seeking to develop cybersecurity curricula. Faculty are encouraged to identify gaps in existing curricula and propose strategies to fill these gaps. Any curricula developed using this RFP must be shared across CCI and state-supported academic institutions.
II. Eligibility. Any public two- or four-year college/university faculty/staff member working in cybersecurity, or related field, associated with COVA CCI.
III. Awards. We anticipate awarding three projects under this RFP in the amount of $10,000 per award.
RFP – Computer Lab Upgrades (COVACCI-21-04)

Period of Performance: January 1, 2022 – December 31, 2022
This RFP is being released to solicit proposals to build new or provide upgrades to academic and/or research computer labs at the public community colleges and/or universities within COVA CCI which are used by students and/or faculty to enhance their academic and/or research capabilities. Funding can be used to purchase hardware, software, and/or cloud enabled services for these computer labs.
Public community colleges and universities within COVA CCI are eligible to apply for this RFP.
A total of $350,000 is available to support this RFP and we anticipate awarding 3-5 awards. While a 1:1 match is not required, we encourage each institution to provide additional funding as needed to complete the upgrades.
